Kevin Ryan of the Ann Arbor News reports that two more Michigan hockey seniors have started their pro careers. Left wing Brandon Naurato signed with the Stockton (CA) Thunder of the ECHL, an affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, and center Tim Miller joined the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL for an amatuer tryout. This comes after Monday’s announcement that defenceman Mark Mitera had inked a deal with the Anaheim Ducks, and on Tuesday he debuted with the Iowa Chops, their AHL affiliate, and registered two assists in his first professional game.
Sophomore Aaron Palushaj, who led the Wolverines with 50 points this season, is still decided whether or not he will sign with the St. Louis Blues. Both he and senior forward Travis Turnbull are in negotiations with the Blues, and Palushaj is expected to make a decision in the next few days.
